Nano-coating herbal drugs were produced by using various methods like homogenization technique, sequential simplex optimization, solvent evaporation method and wet and dry precipitation technique etc. Because of their small size and high surface area to volume ratio, nanoparticles drug carriers improve pharmacokinetic and biodistribution of therapeutic agents. Other than their site specific action they can bypass Blood Brain Barrier (BBB), improve the solubility of hydrophobic compounds as well as increase their stability.
